Due to continued business growth, Europe’s largest independent tyre retreader have an exciting opportunity for a business development manager.

Based from home with regional travel in the South of the UK, you will play a pivotal role in developing a varied portfolio of accounts. As a business development manager, you will be the key contact to their clients, working closely with their industry leading operational team to maintain and enhance a fantastic working relationship with our highly valued customers.

This exciting role will include signing the deal, on boarding the client and playing a part in the transition to the service team.

Maintaining and developing strong strategic relationships with our internal stakeholders across all areas of the business.

Responsibility for developing new accounts ensuring that you use your previous knowledge of the sector along with support from the sales admin team and ensuring the growth targets are met.

What we are looking for:

Natural hunter with drive, integrity and reliability.

Experienced BDM and client-focused solutions ideally within the tyre, truck rental and commercial vehicle sector.

A great eye for detail and be able to organise yourself effectively with a good knowledge of MS Excel.

Proven ability to win business and someone who enjoys the challenge of finding and bringing on new clients. .

Critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Excellent listening, negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment.

You will be someone who will have strong commercial and customer focused skills.

You will be a good communicator and enjoy working with people at all levels.
